Our days schools may be quiet at this time of year, but our homes are very busy with the young people getting the opportunity to take part in lots of fun activities and trips out.

The young people at Heysham House, Lancashire have be out bowling and to the local cinema.

They have had a holiday in sunny Scarborough, and made a visit to the Morecambe Carnival.

Blackpool was another day trip destination, where the staff and young people took a walk on the promenade and went to the fair.

It’s also been busy back at the home where the young people have been rolling their sleeves up and getting into redecorating their rooms - we look forward to see how they look when they are finished!

Sounds like a lot of fun indeed.
