Kedleston offers residential schooling, day schools and children's homes across England for children and young people who are struggling with social, emotional and mental health problems. Specially trained staff support children and young people who are on the autistic spectrum, or who have learning difficulties such as dyspraxia and dyslexia as well as those who have been subject to trauma or substance abuse.
Kedleston can also support young people with an undiagnosed or emerging mental health problem through the in-house clinical team at Wings School Nottingham. The school provides an early intervention provision for young people in an episode of mental ill health, with the aim to prevent later hospitalisation.
Each of the schools provides specialist staff who can support children and young people who perform better in a specialist education provision rather than a main stream school.
The children's homes provide safe, caring and homely environments where the emotional, physical and social needs of children and young people can be met and, where they can be supported to attend external education provision.
